The online news papers can perform affiliate marketing, they can get enrolled into Google AdWords programme, they can post viral or relevant videos on its channel online which could earn them additional marketing revenue. The online newspaper can perform user profiling and curate their content targeting different users. This will give them an opportunity to increase the user base and then premium paid membership could be introduced. Thus, by adopting the above described sources of revenue and creating an inclusive business model which could reasonate with the changing demographic needs, the online newspaper will be in a much better position to become more competitive than their print counterparts.
