Explanation / Answer

Being an Indian I can say that whatever shown in the movies is the harsh reality in India. This movie is about 18 year boy jamal a kid from slums with a dream to become a millionaire. This movie is revolving around the difficulties faced by slum people and how these people shape up their life while living in such culture. He is not an evil person but his hunger for money has hurt the ones around him. The events that took place him in childhood helped him to answer the questions.

Salim has the chance to pick between his energy hungry wants or his ethics; his activities of are prove for his goodness. He has the chance to spare himself, pick up ladies and cash, and turn into a "genuine" man. Rather, he spares Jamal. Despite the fact that his conventionality isn't generally unmistakable, where it counts Salim demonstrates to pick up a heart for salvation.

Cross cultural characteristics of the home country- this movie revolve around the life of slum people. But the truth is that whole country is not living under same condition however part of the country is still under developed.

Yes the story takes place in both rural and urban environment. Jamal recounts the terrible experiences that he has faced during his impoverished childhood, homeless, torture and prostitution.

Again I want to clearly define that the whole India is not alike as shown in movie slum dog millionaire. But yes what the movie shows is the harsh image of the country.
