Every business firm faces many problems when managing workforce, there are diversified workforce doing and performing on complex tasks with different attitudes, capabilities and knowledge. It is very important to keep these employees motivated continuosly to make them high performing employees. It is not easy at it seems, employees have different abilities and attitudes, some may or may not feel committed to the team and organisation due to various factors and that leads to counterproductive behaviour decreasing performance of the firm and impacting its success.

In this case, the problem is in the work environment of the business firm, lot of confusion regarding how to work, what methods are required, and lack of motivation. To meet this issue, the manager must try to get all the information and opinions of the employees regarding their work needs, facilities and difficulty they are facing, then a systematic plan should be made to break complex activity into smaller manageable tasks, eradicating confusion related to work with proper guidelines. Then, training program need to be framed and implemented and feedback for improvement must be provided for the employees after evaluating the training to let them improve their weak skills and strengthen their skillset.

By doing this employees will gain confidence and acquire thorough knowledge regarding jobs and how to complete the tasks, not only this they need to be involved in decision making process and activities of the business to make them feel that they are are involved and there must should be a healthy environment rewarding and recognising outperforming employees, and counsel those who still needs help. By doing this employees morale will increase, they will feel belongingness, and stay motivated and committed to the management, team and organisation.
