You've been asked to analyze a situation on your production line. Parts that had been coming off theproduction within specification for many years started having quality problems with the latest three lots. You startcollecting information and want to ensure you are not adversely affected by biases. Describe three of the biases andhow you will overcome their influences.

I have analyze the production line in details & find out the root cause & reason why the last 3 lot is rejected in quality parameter ? I am sharing you the detail information which clarify the resons why this can be happen on production line ?
1. Now Testing equipment require frequent calibration schedule. But old checklist it is available only once in day. I Observed some frequent tester problem because of equipment getting older so it need to be done shift wise. Test team should consider the tester calibration on shift base.
2. As the equipment is getting older so we need to reduce the maintenance time period of machine, Jigs & fixture. It should be a schedule check frequently. Now due to machine failure some of product got skipped meanwhile machine malfunctioning. Maintenance should look into this and revised the maintenance time period of check list.
3.As tester and machine are got older so it has increase the chances of cosmetic or aesthetic defects on production line. If maintenance become frequent, it will resolve at a great extent.
All the quality lot failure due to machine & equipment getting older. So i will ensure you that this is not a major problem & can be resolved by internal maintenance team.I will assure you thatif this maintenance schedule is changed so that failure can be reduce or resolve completely.
