3. According to Chinese tradition, a successful manager is able to achieve the correct work life balance with equal focus given to professional and personal relationship in official work. The manager can only be successful with a mutually beneficial approach with its employees. The manager should interact with its employees; give importance to staff ideas along with maintaining a good hold on professional commitment to stakeholders thereby driving the KRAs through regular team follow-up.

Leaders can learn from about managing diversity from the Chinese teaching where they believe to tackle any complex situation requires diverse ideas and solutions. It is one of the reasons of increment in women leaders at high levels in China as the companies believe that the challenges can be tackled better with a group of diverse view point people.

Some of the challenges of managing diversity in a global context are to forma inclusive culture where all respect the culture of each other but still maintain the main company culture to be socially responsible. The entire team should be able to adapt to any changes accepting diversity in a global environment alongside working towards achieving common company goals which were set. These challenges can be overcome by ensuring the diverse teams are formed and they are made to interact through several project assignments so that they get familiarized to each others‘working style instead of focusing on the difference in their culture. A smooth transition approach should be followed so the diverse groups can perform better with each other in a team instead of making any sudden change.
