Hey im writting a report on this experiment i did,

Pentafluorobenzoic Acid reacting with thionyl chloride to make Pentafluorobenzoyl Chloride

Diisopropylaniline and potassium carbonate and to make Benzamide

Benzamide   reacting with thionyl chloride to make the final product N-Phenylbenzimidoyl Chloride

i need help with the report what to write in the introduction, im just short 3 pages and anything would be helpful.

i've wrote the experimental procedure, i defintely need help for the introduction.

write the introduction about reaction and why you are making that amide is it any medicinally important

why you are taking only penta fluoro benzoic acid why not other acids

means what kind kind reactin involves in each step like

first step is SNi reaction (conversion of acid to acid chloride)

second one is Schotten-Baumann Reaction

thid one involves nucleophilic displacemebt reaction
