Question

Perforum subtraction on given unsigned binary numbers using 2'scompliment of subtrahend. Where the result should be negative, fineits 2's complement and affix a minus sign

1) 1001-101000
2) 110000-101000

Also, this is in same question 100010-100011. Why is that this usessign extension but 10011-10001 does not? I have the answers to bothof these which both are under this question I presented but I can'tunderstand why sign extension is used on one and not the other.Same with problem 1 and 2. Problem 2 shows sign extension beingused.
